提到迪士尼动画，相信很多人都会想起《冰雪奇缘》（Frozen）、《超能陆战队》（Big Hero 6）、《头脑大作战》（Inside Out）这些火爆全球的动画影片。迪士尼总能推陈出新，为我们带来一部又一部精彩的动画大片，其今年3月初推出的《疯狂动物城》（Zootopia）也不例外，上映不久就在全球掀起了一股“疯狂动物”热潮。影片在传统童话改编与标新立异的头脑风暴之间另辟蹊径，构建了一个现代化的动物社会。这个环境和气候比地球还美好、城市系统比地球还发达的国度是我们心中向往的梦幻之地，而影片所讲述的故事正是发生在这样一片充满自由气息的土地上。

还记得年少时的梦想吗？小时候的梦想总是伴随着最纯真的愿望，而影片就是从主人公兔子Judy的童年梦想展开的。电影开篇通过一幕趣味横生的儿童小短剧，为我们揭开了这个美好世界的一角。

Judy： Fear， treachery （背叛）， blood lust. Thousands of years ago these were the forces that ruled our world. A world where prey were scared of predators， and the predators had an uncontrollable biological urge to maim （使残疾） and maul （袭击） and ... Blood. Blood. Blood. And death. Back then， the world was divided in two： vicious predator， or meek prey. But over time we evolved and moved beyond our primitive， savage （野蛮的） ways. Now predator and prey live in harmony. And every young mammal has multitudinous （无数的） opportunities.

Sheep： Yeah， I don't have to cower （畏缩） in a herd anymore. Instead， I can be an astronaut.

Tiger： I don't have to be a lonely hunter anymore. Today I can hunt for tax exemptions （免税额）. I'm gonna be an actuary （保险计算员）.

Judy： And I can make the world a better place. I am going to be a police officer！ It may seem impossible to small minds. But， just 211 miles away， stands the great city of Zootopia， where our ancestors first joined together in peace， and declared that anyone can be anything！

一如小兔子Judy所说，她的梦想很单纯，就是让这个世界变得更美好。她想报考警校，成为一名警察，即便这个世界上还没有一只兔子当过警察，即便父母和275个兄弟姐妹都只是辛勤的农夫，即便体型娇小的她几下就被狐狸Gideon按倒在地而毫无还击之力。为了实现这个梦想，她愿意迎接一切挑战。无论多么严苛的训练都难不倒这只从来不知放弃的小兔子。经过不懈的努力和日复一日的刻苦训练，Judy最终成为第一只从警校毕业的兔子警察。

长大成人的Judy终于如愿以偿，她与家人挥泪告别，向动物城（Zootopia）进发。随着高速列车的飞驰，Judy第一次亲眼看见了动物城的精彩世界。在这个梦幻城邦，有着数不清的动物居民，他们生活在不同的地域之中，各司其职。在超级现代化的城市中，动物居民们用着智能手机和平板电脑，乘坐着四通八达的城际列车，穿梭在热带雨林、沙漠等不同的地貌之间。在中央车站里，小到仓鼠的专属管道，大到河马上岸后的烘干机，各式各样的公共设施服务于不同种类的动物居民们。看着眼前的这一切，Judy激动不已。她更加坚信“In Zootopia anyone can be anything！”。她迫切地想用行动证明，自己可以成为一名好警察。

当晚，Judy入住单身公寓，尽管房间简陋，尽管隔壁的邻居吵闹不休，但梦想成真的她一点都不介意。第二天一大早，Judy前往警察局报道。警察局水牛警长Bogo似乎对这位新晋员工格外不感兴趣，他只在早会上宣布了Judy的加入，随后就安排她负责处理违章停车的工作。看着其他同事都受命调查最近接连发生的十几起动物失踪案，而自己只能当一个交通协警，Judy多少有点失落。不过，对于这只永不放弃的兔子来说，任何事都不会让她心灰意冷。即便是给违章车辆开罚单，她也要做出成绩，毕竟这也是让城市变得更美好的一种方式。于是，她每天第一个出勤，开着小小的电瓶车，穿梭在马路间，给违章车辆开具罚单，不厌其烦地重复着这个无聊的工作。

一切就这样按部就班地进行着，直到Judy在大象雪糕店遇到狐狸Nick。看到Nick想给儿子Finnick买根雪糕作为生日礼物却被店员无情拒绝，Judy感动不已，她不但替他们说情，还自掏腰包，给他们买了一根巨型樱桃口味的雪糕。只可惜这背后的真相并不那么美好。原来，Nick与Finnick只是假扮成父子，来骗取巨型雪糕。他们转手就用那根巨型雪糕制作出了无数根爪子冰棒（Pawpsicle），卖给小仓鼠们挣钱。发现真相的Judy去找狐狸Nick理论，却反被Nick嘲讽了一番。

Nick： Okay. Tell me if this story sounds familiar. Naive little hick （乡巴佬） with good grades and big ideas decides， "Hey， look at me， I'm gonna move to Zootopia where predators and prey live in harmony and sing Kumbaya1！" Only to find， whoopsie （哎哟）， we don't all get along. And that dream of becoming a big city cop， double whoopsie， she's a meter maid （女交警）. And whoopsie number threesie， no one cares about her or her dreams. And soon enough those dreams die， and our bunny sinks into emotional and literal squalor （糟糕的境地）， living in a box under a bridge. Till finally she has no choice but to go back home with that cute fuzzy-wuzzy （短而毛茸茸的） little tail between her legs to become ... You're from Bunnyburrow （兔子镇）. Is that what you said？ So how about a carrot farmer？ That sound' about right？ [Judy只顾追着Nick走，差点被路过的犀牛踩到] Be careful now， or it won't just be your dreams getting crushed.

Judy： Hey， hey. No one tells me what I can or can't be. Especially not some jerk （傻瓜） who never had the guts （胆量） to try to be anything more than a Pawpsicle hustler （骗子）.

Nick： All right. Look， everyone comes to Zootopia thinking they can be anything they want. Well， you can't. You can only be what you are. Sly fox. Dumb bunny.

Judy： I'm not a dumb bunny.

Nick： Right. [Judy不小心踩进了路上刚铺的水泥里] And that's not wet cement. You'll never be a real cop. You're a cute meter maid， though. Maybe a supervisor one day. Hang in there.
